It’s pretty well accepted by now that AI is the future of most industries. Wouldn’t you like to play a part in that future while developing the medicines of tomorrow?
Getting involved in AI while remaining focused on software and data engineering can be tricky, but if you’re eager to bring your development skills to bear on a cutting edge, machine learning driven drug discovery engine, which helps uncover treatments in areas of serious unmet medical need, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
How about developing cutting edge systems and infrastructure in a greenfield environment where you can have a real impact on the way things are done? And working for a company that genuinely values innovation and the power of technology?
We are an innovative biotech company based just outside Oxford who are looking for someone to do all of this and more!
As a Software / Data Engineer, you’ll be working on our existing platform to increase their use of automated data processing pipelines and workflows, as well as new functionality.
Your role will also be focused on the design and implementation of systems for biological and chemical integration, database driven applications and the infrastructure of the organisation.
Our platform enables a unique approach to drug discovery, and we’re making real progress in treating conditions previously considered undruggable. Key partnerships with major Pharma companies have provided clear validation of our approach, and an emphasis on complex biology sets us apart from other technology-driven businesses.
If you’re a software or data engineer who’s excited by solving fascinating puzzles in areas of real impact, then you’ll encounter engaging challenges and fantastic opportunities for development.
We’re looking for individuals with a strong background in developing end-to-end software systems dealing with large-scale biological and chemical datasets, and great programming skills – we are language agnostic, but do a lot of work in Java and R among other languages.
You’ll be familiar with cloud computing (whether AWS, Azure or other), and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who’s serious about their own development, who wants to contribute to a group that’s making a difference in the industry and who loves solving complex problems.
If this sounds like the next step in your career, then get in touch on email@example.com. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
