Partnerships
e-Therapeutics has partnering relationships with companies that have complementary expertise or resources in compound libraries, high-throughput screening, chemogenomics, and clinical research. The company is exploring further relationships in these areas, and in the areas of marketing and distribution of branded generic drugs in less familiar indications which have been emphasised by e-Therapeutics’ research.
Alliance with Khandelwal
e-Therapeutics has an alliance with Khandelwal Laboratories, a producer of pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients. KLab has one of the largest ranges of oncology formulations in India. The company markets a variety of generic products for a range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, anti-infectives, NSAIDs, and corticosteroids. It launched and marketed the fastest growing new medicine in all of Indian pharmaceuticals between 2004 and 2006. Its products are manufactured in KLab’s WHO GMP facilities.

Alliance with CCTT
e-Therapeutics has an alliance with CCTT, for cardiovascular testing. CCTT was founded by Dr Derek Terrar, based at the Department of Pharmacology at Oxford University, who is an internationally recognised authority on cardiovascular medicine and function. This expertise is important both to assessment and development of specific cardiovascular candidates, and because cardiovascular complications are a frequent cause of the failure of drug development candidates elsewhere in the industry.
Alliance with Cresset Biomolecular Discovery![]()
e-Therapeutics enjoys a partnership with Cresset BioMolecular Discovery Ltd, a specialist in molecular field technology. The initial focus of the collaboration is to combine e-Therapeutics’ world-leading computational platform, which identifies the impact of drug compounds on cells, with Cresset’s advanced technology in chemical comparison, to deliver powerful drug de-risking and repositioning capabilities. The first project to be undertaken together is on pain treatment, which remains an area of significant un-met medical need.
Partnership with KeyGen Biomedical
e-Therapeutics has a partnership arrangement with Nanjing KeyGen Biotech. Co. Ltd. in China. The partnership brings together complementary scientific expertise and capabilities, combining e-Therapeutics’ complex systems drug discovery and drug evaluation platform, with KeyGen’s cell-based assays and preclinical capabilities. The initial focus of the collaboration exploits both companies’ respective capabilities in the area of oncology. Keygen have expertise and facilities in cell-lines and for preclinical testing of oncology candidates. e-Therapeutics has proprietary complex systems analysis tools which enable the assessment and the discovery of drug candidates with desirable properties in efficacy, safety and tolerance for development.
